Festung is the largest known continent of Ellil, and home to the Teifling empire as well as several human city-states. The Harael Empire has also established several outposts along the southern coast, the largest of which is Perage.

• The city state of Ird has adopted a theocratic government led by some kind of religious fanatics.
• There have been political tensions between Bael Turath and Hedazistan over hunting rights in the Kuz valley.
