DEMARACKIS

Demarackis is the second-largest continent on Ellil. It is also the homeland of the Harael empire, ruled by the iron fist of Empress Tavore, who resides in Ashir Voil. The majority of the population is human, but there are also several dwarven communities in the north-east, near Nalpol.

Culturally, the empire is made up of several groups who have been assimilated by the Haraeli over the past decades; the Yassir, the Nal, the Radban and the Dokal to name a few. Recently the Empress began establishing outposts in southern Festung.

Nal
The Nal are proud, strong and confident but not arrogant. They make their homes among the rocky hills and valleys of northern Demarackis and are lead by king Gammir Ushid the Second, from the city of Nalpol. In the 2,087th year of Io's Awakening, Gammir Ushid the First signed the Treaty of Rys, effectively incorporating the Nal's territory into the greater Harael Empire. As part of the deal, the Nal were allowed to retain dominion over their homeland, and king Gammur Ushid was granted the title of Governor of Tanais, which was passed on to his son at his coronation. The Nal pay special homage to Kord, Bahamut and The Raven Queen.
