Joel Johnson of BoingBoing Gadgets visited The Hugh Thompson Show to talk about gadgets. This is a show that is sponsored exclusively by AT&T and distributed on their online Tech Channel. So what’s the first thing he does? He calls out AT&T on their idea/plan to filter all packets handled by their routers - basically […]

This past Friday I saw Cloverfield with a couple of friends, one of whom will post his own impressions of the movie as well I imagine. In advance, I apologize for the rambling format this mini-review will inevitably take, as I’m still trying to digest everything.
So how do I put this? In a word, the […]

Part 4 of the first chapter of our campaign write-up has been posted here. It feels a bit more rushed compared to past episodes, but I really want to get caught up to the current session. See what I do for you?

Each key is a stand-alone display that shows the function currently assigned to it.

I’ve decided to give this twitter thing a try. I’m not really sure what to expect from it. I’m usually against things like this purely on principle. Consider it a lark which may or may not last. You can find a link to my twitters (twits?) up there.

Just a quickie: part 3 of Shadows of the Past is up here. It looks like the chapter might stretch out to 4 or even 5 parts, since I am ending up with more words than I had anticipated. I’m really enjoying writing these recaps for the exercise.

I just came back from the local cinema where they were showing Will Smith’s latest flick: I Am Legend. The premise of the movie is such: In 2009, scientists discover what they believe is a viral cure for cancer. Several thousand people are cured, but it soon turns out that the virus has mutated into […]
